What you’ll do in your role as Production Manager at A-Gas in Eygelshoven.
This is a newly created role within our Site in Eygelshoven. You will lead the Production, Environmental Services, Cylinder Management and Planning teams safely, efficiently and effectively so we fulfil customer orders with quality product. You will report directly to the Head of Site and Operations.
Build professional operational standards in such a way that we sustain and protect our brand reputations as a trusted partner to our customers.
Process optimization and working towards operational excellence.
Collaborate with colleagues across multiple departments on the development of our strategic plan. Coach and nurture the performance of our operational teams towards the delivery of departmental objectives.
Lead, promote and help build a culture of continuous improvement among the teams on our production site.

Who you are.
A experienced production or operations manager who can help the team’s further develop. You bring significant experience of working in an operational chemical processing environment or a somehow similar.
You’re a natural leader, confident in your ability to manage production teams with a high safety focus. You are on top of operations.
You’re a fluent English speaker and can find your way easily around other languages.
You can build our internal knowledge, skills and experience through your experience of leading continuous improvement initiatives.
Ideally you’ll be Six Sigma Green Belt qualified and a practitioner of its methodology.

Essential
Degree qualified in engineering/chemical subject or equivalent industry experience
Significant management experience in an operational/chemical processing environment
Experience in a dynamic high-development environment
Experience of managing a production team with a high safety focus
Sound understanding of regulated systems such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
3+ years CI experience
8-10 Industrial experience of operations
6Sigma Green belt qualified and practitioner of methodology & culture
A sound understanding of and experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
Clear understanding of the English language
Desirable
Significant Industrial safety experience including working at height and LOTOTO legislation
Experienced in project and engineering management
Detailed understanding of relevant industry standards TPED etc.
Understanding of Pressurised Equipment Directive
Understanding of chemical processing techniques such as fractional distillation
Experience of production management or supervision
Black Belt 6Sigma qualified
Other “Lean techniques
Experience of dealing with regulatory bodies such as the HSE and EA
Experience of working within the HVAC industry
A second language
